Meet Nicolle Frick

Nicolle is an artist whose creative path has unfolded alongside the rhythms of family, education, and reinvention. Her artistic foundation began with a college class that sparked a lasting curiosity, leading her to explore creativity through quiet moments and personal projects.

After starting a family, Nicolle shifted her focus to earning a degree in education and spent 12 years teaching sixth-grade math and science. Following her time in the classroom, she partnered with her husband in building and supporting his business, embracing another chapter of growth, adaptability, and purpose.

A move to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, opened the door for Nicolle to return to her artistic roots with renewed energy and perspective. Working primarily in soft pastels, she is drawn to their immediacy, rich texture, and ability to capture subtle shifts in light and color. She also explores oil painting, continuing to expand her range and evolve her artistic voice.

Inspired by her surroundings, Nicolle especially enjoys painting the local dunes, along with capturing the beauty of landscapes from her travels. Her work reflects a growing exploration of light, color, and place—thoughtful, observant, and rooted in an appreciation for everyday beauty.
